From Wrigley’s commercials in the slums of India to the cover of Vogue magazine? Freida Pinto IS the classic rags to riches story. With an Oscar winning movie already under her belt, get used to the name, the face and expect to see more of the gorgeous Freida Pinto.
Freida tells Vogue, “Honestly, I remember harboring dreams of being an actor since I was five years old. For someone like me with no godfather in the film industry, it was easier to break into modeling. I did use modeling as a means to get into the film world. I enjoyed modeling. It taught me a lot in terms of being confident and definitely helped me prepare for what was to come next.”
And if Vogue wasn’t enough, Freida also graces the cover of the March issue of Maxim.
My advice to her rumored boyfriend Dev Patel (co-star on Slumdog Millionaire) is to not get too close to Freida…before you know it, she’ll be all up on George Clooney‘s jock strap!
