Don’t mess with George Clooney when he’s in a huff, especially when mace is involved. Apparently, the New York Police Department has Clooney’s panties twisted hardcore, but for a good reason. Clooney is a tad ticked that the cops are using mace on protesters who are protesting at a rally peacefully.
So what gives?
Check out what Clooney has to say about the ongoing Occupy Wall Street march in downtown Manhattan.
Clooney said, “I really do feel terrible because we’ve been on the road for so long (promoting new movie The Ides of March), that I haven’t quite been able to catch up with the whole thing. I’ve seen (on the news) women get maced in the face or something, which seems incredibly insane… but if it (the protest) is what it seems like it is, it’s sounding great. I’ve got to learn more about it.” In other words, he’d probably be right out on the picket line too or at least showing his face at the rally to show his support!
Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon and Michael Moore have all showed their support as of late. I double dog dare George Clooney to go down there and then I triple dog dare the NY police to mace the silver fox.
