Gordon Ramsay sued, unpaid wine bill

Gordon Ramsay Takes A Break from Being The Chef!

Sued!

As if wasn’t crabby enough! Being sued shouldn’t make him a real happy camper either. Apparently, Ramsay just got a big fat lawsuit against him for an unpaid wine bill of $41,000. Ummm, either he was too drunk to even remember he indulged in that amount of wine or he just thought he could get shiznit for free because he is a D-list celebrity.

So got himself sued. The UK’s Daily Telegraph is saying that Ramsay ordered up $41,000 worth of wine to his restaurant in NYC and didn’t have “any intention of paying for the bottles”. Geez.

So here’s the lowdown. Apparently Wineberry America is behind the lawsuit saying that Ramsay ordered wine to his recently sold NYC restaurant, The London, from 2007 to 2009. And over that amount of time, he just didn’t feel like paying the big fat bill. Niiice.

Ramsay’s spokesperson said, “We are in the process of working through any outstanding claims in regard to The London NYC and bills will be paid in due course.” Yikes. It’s not like he doesn’t have enough ching to pay off that bill.

But it just so happens that Jamie Oliver isn’t too fond of Ramsay either. He talked smack recently saying, “Men big everything up non-stop, but women tell you the truth. If I was to choose between ’s cookbook or [wife] Tana Ramsay’s, it would be Tana’s every time. In my opinion, her books are a damn sight better than his.”

Ouch!
