In advance of the release of their new album trilogy, Green Day is taking a look back on their career with the release of an eight-CD boxed set, The Studio Albums 1990-2009 on September 4th, 2012.
The collection treads the band’s journey from their debut in 1990 to 2009′s 21st Century Breakdown.
Available exclusively from Best Buy, the set features each album in an individual CD paper-sleeve with original artwork, housed in a clamshell box. All eight albums are neatly packaged together in once place, giving you a sharp, sizzling slice of punk rock history and an in-depth look at the band’s evolution.
And, remember, not long after the release of this box set comes the first release from Green Day’s album trilogy with the release of Green Day ĄUno! on September 25th, followed by Green Day ĄDos! on November 13th and Green Day ĄTré! on January 15th.
