Yet another dating show on the verizon, but this one I might actually watch! NBC has announced that a new dating series, Ready for Love, will premiere in the winter season of this year. The show, produced by Eva Longoria, will be hosted by adorable couple Giuliana and Bill Rancic!
According a press release, Ready for Love will “give three successful and handsome men who are committed to finding the right woman the chance of finding their soul mate.”
Paul Telegdy, who serves as president of alternative and late night programming at NBC stated, “We are thrilled to have Eva leading the charge creatively. She has
enlisted the help of the three best matchmakers in the world, each with their own philosophies and approaches to guiding singles towards love.”
“This show is about making real connections and the ongoing search for love, something that both men and women can relate to,” Eva said. “I am excited to be a part of such an innovative and promising format that will help these great guys find true love.”
No clue as to who these matchmakers could be yet, but the news is forthcoming. Tough Love‘s Steve Ward revealed that he has been considered for the position, but nothing is set yet.
Can’t even lie. I’m a sucker for scripted, sappy, drama-full love shows! Plus I love Guiliana and Bill, so I can’t wait to see them host together. And who knows? Maybe an actual married and in-love couple on a dating show might actually bring about some real true love! Well, as real as reality TV can give, I guess.
