It isn’t always coming up roses for stars dating their agent boyfriends. Although Reese Witherspoon is enjoying marital bliss with her husband (and expecting a baby at any moment with him as well), the same cannot be said for another Oscar winner.
A publicist for the Hilary Swank has confirmed that she has put the brakes on her relationship of five years with John Campisi. For those that remember, Campisi is the man Swank hooked up with after leaving her husband Chad Lowe.
Swank must practice extreme discretion in her personal life, because it is also being reported that the couple split up in May. I guess the phrase ‘summer of love’ means nothing to Hilary. I expect to hear more news about this split from Hilary once she begins promoting her next movie. She has been busy in South Africa lately filming the upcoming Mary & Martha.
This just goes to show you that the Oscar curse for women that win the Best Actress award continues on. But the good news is that if Reese can find another man, then surely Hilary can as well. And take heart, Swankers… if Halle Berry can find a man, anyone can.
