We heard earlier that Nick and Aaron Carter’s sister Leslie Carter died at the age of 25 in upstate New York. Such sad news! We weren’t given many details surrounding her death but TMZ has their thoughts. How did Leslie Carter die?
It appears TMZ has done some digging and found out some dirt, revealing exclusively that Leslie recently moved in with her family to try to overcome a prescription pill addiction. Yeah, pills…namely Xanax. The source said that Leslie was left home alone for an hour while family members ran some errands. It was when the family returned that they found Leslie unconscious. So did she overdose? Toxicology reports indicated no foul play. So what will the autopsy say? We’ll keep you posted.
All I know is that Xanax and benzos are highly addictive and if her family hid all the pills from her and forced her to quit cold turkey, she could have actually died from the withdrawal. You need to wean off those meds gradually and be monitored by a health professional during the process.
At any rate, it is all so very sad, especially for all the family members and friends left behind. Our thoughts are with the Carter family.
