Today is the official I-am-really-not-a-douche-day. Did you not know that? Ha, well, Jon Gosselin surely thinks so, but unfortunately a douche is still a douche no matter how clean you think you may come. After a very public divorce battle and drama drawn out enough to be three years worth of soap opera coverage, Jon Gosselin is trying to slow down the divorce process from newly hair-styled Kate Gosselin. Yep.
Big douchey Jon has told In Touch Weekly exclusively, “I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated … I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon. Ummmm, duh?
After whipping out the one eyed snake, apparently Jon thinks it is okay for him to stall the divorce at least for 90 days so that he can “…regain control over the future of our family.” Or so claims the paperwork he has filed with the courts. However, could this have to do with the fact that Jon & Kate Plus Eight is turning into simply just Kate Plus Eight?
Gosselin’s lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, tells In Touch Jonny “woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and didn’t like the reflection.” Ummm, yeah.
Jon says that this stalling will “enable Kate and me to restore our relationship as cooperative parents and to open up our lines of communication. I hope that she will be as receptive and enthusiastic as I am to do what is best for our family. Even though we were heading for a divorce, it appeared that Kate had been suffering from this divorce as much as I had. That’s why I asked my attorney to put the brakes on this divorce so I could try to regain control over the future of our family. So Kate and I could join on a cooperative course that would benefit our family — not destroy it.”
I’m thinking Jon realizes he’s lost his meal ticket and well..he’s still a douche. A downright dirty douche. What do YOU think?
