Katy created quite a fuss over her first single that had her kissing a girl and liking it. Add in her eccentric fashion sense to the mix, last week’s cake slip and you’ve got an individual trying hard to be Madonna-esque.
As if that wasn’t enough, the above promotional photo has leaked its way to the Internet with Katy posing with a knife. The photo is believed to have been taken in 2006 and has not appeared on an album or the singer’s Web site. However, magically the photo has made its way to the cyberworld just one week after her cake slip.
It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that Katy Perry is trying her damnedest to give herself an edge to separate herself from her fellow pop competition. Rough? Tough? Controversial? It’s P.R. We get that. But…
Has Katy taken her “edgy-ness” a tad too far with this knife photo?
Or perhaps this is her way of endorsing Sarah Palin?
