Jada Pinkett Smith’s mother Adrienne Banfield Jones was a crackhead and a horrible mother, so she now admits.
In a new web series called Red Table Talks, produced by Will Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment, the three generations of women (Adrienne, Jada and Willow) discussed life, celebrity and motherhood and a whole lot of confessions came out and that is just the way Jada wanted it.
And let me just say this, it is no wonder Scientology sucked Jada in, her childhood was effing messed up, thanks to her mother.
And now grandbaby Willow got to hear about it. Granny Banfield told Willow, “I had mommy when I was very young and then I got addicted to drugs after mommy was born. It was a very difficult time for us growing up with her and Jada did not have the kind of life that you have now. I was on drugs until your mom was like 17 or 18-years-old. That’s a long time.”
Even though she was a hot mess back then she assures, “I have been clean for 22 years. I went into therapy and I remember trying to get your mom to come with me and do some therapy sessions and she just wasn’t having it. I felt like there were things that needed to be said that she just needed to get off her chest.”
In other words, there was a whole lot of unsaid-I-want-to-kick-you-in-the-coot drama going down between Jada and Adrienne for years until now!
