Talk about total suckage! As some of you may or may not know, UK reality star Jade Goody was diagnosed with cancer a few months back. And while she has chosen to publicly fight her disease, living with cancer in the public eye has not been an easy choice. With current news of Jade’s condition worsening, many of Jade’s fans are saddened to know that the chance of Jade’s survival is looking grim.
Just last night, Jade was admitted to the Royal Marsden hospital in Chelsea on New Year’s Eve…talk about a fun way to celebrate the New Year. NOT! The reality TV star has been said to be unable to shake off an infection of flu virus after her white blood cell count fell dangerously low following chemotherapy to fight her cervical cancer. Thus, her admittance in to the hospital last night.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Although her treatment appears to have been going well, it may have been a case of too much too soon. She is very prone to infection and has obviously picked up something which has hit her incredibly hard.”
Ughh, we wish only the best for Jade and her family and hope that she can fight this nasty disease!
