Jade Goody recently passed after a long hard fight with cervical cancer (gawd rest her soul), however, now we may be once again be reminded of the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind. So, why not make a musical to celebrate Jade’s life? Yep. Apparently there is a musical in the works and the search for a lead to portray Jade will be found through a talent show on television. Milk, milk, milk.
And wouldn’t you know…Jade’s publicist Max Clifford agreed to be a judge on the show if everything works out as planned.
Max explains, “Her dream as a little girl was to be in a musical, so obviously when she passed away it felt fitting to do something like this. If the show continues to raise awareness about cervical cancer, be a good night out and further her legacy, then it’s not really hurting anyone.”
Choreographer Victoria Hayward adds, “Obviously there is nobody else I’m sure in this world quite like Jade. Hopefully we’ll have a panel of not only creative experts but people that were close to Jade to be able to pick somebody that has to be able to dance and to sing – because Jade could sing. She had a fabulous voice. And to act, obviously, to play the part of Jade, and to have that kind of extra special kind of sparkle that she had.”
