Jade Goody got her wish…sorta. Jade and her sons Bobby and Freddy were officially baptized together at the Royal Marsden Church chapel. As initially planned, the baptism was to take place at a church, but word is that Jade was too weak to leave the hospital. Word is that Jade has taken a dramatic turn for the worse since her wedding less than two weeks ago.
A source said that Jade found it hard to stay awake during the service, however she was all smiles and kissing people as they left the service.
Max Clifford, Jade’s publicist, spoke about the emotional service that involved Jade saying goodbye to many of her friends and family. “I hope the boys get a chance to see her again. It’s the first time they’ve seen her this weak. The two things she said to me were she wanted to get married and have the christening and she has done them both and done them her own way, with style. It was in my mind that she was saying her final goodbyes to some people, as she was kissing people and smiling at people on the way out that maybe it will be the last time some of them see her.”
“Of course, it was a very emotional service and the important thing is that it is what she wanted. It’s happened, they’re all christened now and hopefully, in her own words, through Jesus they will stay together.”
“I can’t imagine there will be [another public act] unless there is a miraculous recovery, which of course those that are close will hope and pray for.”
The more I hear about this, the more it breaks my heart. Cancer sucks!
