After a rough weekend of being in and out of the hospital, devastating news has hit Jade Goody and her family. Grab your tissues nearby…this is effing sad. Yesterday, Jade was told by her medical team that they discovered secondary tumors growing in her liver, bowel and groin. Her cancer has spread. And Jade is said to be distraught. Can you imagine? I’d be one.hot.mess.
“I am devastated. I am angry. I don’t want to die because I have so much to live for. The reality is I have gone from a 40 percent chance of a cure to seeing how long I can stay alive. The whole thing is absolutely terrifying. To try and remain positive I am hoping a new type of treatment will suppress and control the cancer, which is very aggressive. I am in a nightmare.”
Everyone seems to be taking the news pretty roughly. Her mom and her boyfriend were both by her bedside when the news was delivered.
Now it’s up to the docs to draw up a plan to attack these new tumors and see how long they can keep Jade alive.
So so sad.
