So yeah. This isn’t a joke. Jake Gyllenhaal and Minka Kelly supposedly dated. For how many dates I don’t not know. Did they kiss? I do not know that either and to me that just seems awkward. But anyways, Us Weekly has revealed that after rejecting Jake back in the fall and after canoodling with Wilmer Valderrama in April, Minka decided to give Jake a chance.
A source told the magazine that “Minka wasn’t into Jake when he first pursued her.” And from what it sounds like she really wasn’t into him when they were dating either.
The source added, “It was never serious, and it’s over now.” Obviously. It wasn’t even long enough for us to see a photo of the two together. Sad.
Apparently nobody can quite compare to baseball star Derek Jeter. Minka dated him for three years, while Jake has been single for quite some time.
At least Jake knows Minka won’t be writing a song or even speaking about her relationship with Jake anytime soon. We’re still waiting for that Taylor Swift song that is rumored to appear on her new album.
