The BET Awards 2009 went down last night June 28th, 2009 and the original evening’s events were scrapped as most of the evening was tailored to honor the late Michael Jackson. However, the highlight of the evening was the appearance of Janet Jackson BET Awards 2009.
Only three days after the announcement of her brother’s death, Janet Jackson took to the stage at the BET music awards to speak out Michael’s tragic death. Though difficult as it was, Janet had to take a bit of time to gather herself before she spoke out to the audience.
