And just like that, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans found herself back in the slammer. But, judging by her mugshot, jail is her happy place. And I’m not just saying that because she’s smiling in general, but because she rarely smiles, and yet here she is… smiling!
So what happened?
According to Starcasm.net, Jenelle was booked January 10, 2012 around 10:15 a.m in Brunswick County for “harassing phone calls” and “communicating threats.” After posting the $1,000 bond she was out of jail within a few hours.
It seems Jenelle’s old roommate, Hannah Inman, was reportedly the one who pressed charges against her, even claiming that Jenelle has threatened her life in the past.
While Jenelle tweeted “so upset can’t stop crying. I might just run far far away and never come back” earlier that day, she told starcasm.net that there was no validity to the charges and things it was all just a ploy to get back at her for pressing cyber-stalking charges against James Duffy earlier this week.
