Comedian Jerry Lewis is back to work after his recent hospitalization. Apparently his boom boom wasn’t as bad as people initially thought. On Tuesday the 86 year old actor fell down just hours before he was supposed to honor Tom Cruise the Friars Entertainment Icon Award at a New York gala and was then treated for low blood sugar.
He has since been released and he is already throwing himself back into work as he begins a musical adaptation for his 1963 movie The Nutty Professor.
His publicist Candi Cazau stated that “all is well” and he is “getting ready to return to work”.
Rehearsals for the musical begin later this month.
Well that is certainly great news. Good to hear that Lewis is still kickin’ and contributing to what he knows how to do best…entertainment!
