But, this isn’t just ANY prison release. Jessica Simpson‘s childhood friend Lane Garrison just got the word that he WILL be let back into the wild on April 29. And in celebration of his homecoming, Miss Simpson has arranged to pick his booty up.
Jess’s pal says, “Jessica wanted to pick Lane up herself, but she can’t. So she hired a limo for a few friends to be there once Lane walks out.”
Apparently Jess and Lane have been in contact since he started his sentence in October 2007. Isn’t that sweet. Though, it is pretty damn sad that for a DUI that resulted in the death of another person, he just gets a measly couple years. That’s the system for ya, bitches!
