It’s a sad sad world in the land of Jessica Simpson, however, perhaps Papa Joe is rejoicing? It’s really hard to say considering big ole’ papa was the one who set up Jess and Roma Tomato to be together fo’ lyfe…or something like that. Well, apparently Tony Romo threw in the towel on Thursday…even worse is it was ONE night before Jess’ birthday! Slam!
A source close to Jess says, “She is heartbroken. She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”
And Friday night, the day after the breakup, Roma Tomato was spotted at MyHouse club with about 14 pals and NO Jessica in sight.
A source says, “He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table. Romo was sipping Grey Goose and having a fun time with the boys.”
On Jess’ Twitter, however, it seems as if Jessica showed no negative emotions about her breakup. She tweets on Saturday, “Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!”
On Sunday she tweets, “Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.” Three hours later, she wrote, “Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.”
Well if we haven’t seen the pimpin’ necklace dangling from Papa Joe’s neck as of late, you will now! Papa Joe has got to some work to do…find that beotch a boyfriend!
