Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were suspected of wearing wedding bands when they attended Sunday’s Academy Awards in Hollywood. Jeweler Jamie Wolf confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple is indeed married. ”I designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman,” Wolf told Us. “They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds.
There are no details on when and where the actress and the choreographer were married. Portman’s rep and manager did not reply to requests for comment from Us.
The couple fell in love on the set of Black Swan, and announced in late December 2010 that they were engaged and expecting a child. Their son Aleph was born in June 2011. Seen out and about at different award shows last year, the couple showed up looking ever more affectionate and in love at this year’s Academy Awards.
Since the couple is notoriously private, I doubt we’ll be seeing any wedding pictures. However, Natalie and Benjamin make a beautiful couple! Congrats to them!
