Designer and TV Personality Jill Zarin launched her Fall 2013 Skweez Couture shapewear, legwear and sock collection at the trendy Hudson Terrace on Wednesday, February 6th using “real” women of different shapes and sizes to model Skweez and Jill Zarin Jewelry. I LOVE the fact that she used a woman of regular size and not some stick thin anorexic-looking figure. Go girl!
Celebrity chef Todd English, Jason Roberts from “The Chew” and RHONYC castmate Cindy Barshop mingled with hundreds of guests who “skweezed” their way in. The audience enthusiastically greeted Skweez’s trendy metallic animal print leggings which added a new fashion element to traditional shapewear. Inspired by Versace and Missoni, the new colorful prints added pizazz to the legging collection’s perennial favorites, like the classic black ponte leggings.
Jill was thrilled to re-introduce her modern version of the original Boot Sock, soon available in 20 colors, and sure to become the next big fad for fall.
