Somewhere over the rainbow Josh Groban fans, also known as Grobanites, are passing out from hot flashes. They may be grown women (the majority of his fans are), but their teeny bopper side erupts upon hearing any news of a Josh Groban appearance, especially if it involves seeing his curly-haired mop top and baby face on the boob tube. There’s something about that opera-esque voice that drives the ladies bananas. I admit the boy can sing pretty much anything. Josh will try to prove that true by taking on television theme songs on the 60th anniversary of the Emmy Awards to air on ABC September 21st.
According to the Emmy’s producer Ken Ehrlich, “In honor of the Emmy Awards’ 60th anniversary, Josh’s medley will touch on some of television’s most resonant theme songs — including from ‘Friends,’ ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘The Brady Bunch’ and many more. The actual full list of show titles is being kept a secret until the show. This will truly be an unforgettable performance.”
Should be interesting, that is for sure! Perhaps Josh will show us his dancing abilities this night as well?
