Jude Law probably would rather get his ass kicked than call the po po to help him out. Apparently Law has a fear that his trouble will be leaked to the press. And yes, it has happened a couple of times, but he’s got damn sick of it.
And I get that, but why risk your life just because you don’t want the info to be public?
Check out what he has to say below.
When you have bad experiences with the law (no not Jude), it’s only going to make you have animosity towards it. Jude chatted it up with U.K. newspaper The Observer and when asked whether he felt the establishment was corrupt he said,”Yes. Truly. That’s certainly how I felt. I was aware back then that certain avenues, even the most official ones, would ultimately lead to media exposure so you were left with a situation where you don’t know quite where to go. I’ve been in scenarios, several times, often involved in being chased, often involved in being stalked, having my privacy infringed upon, and not been able to go to the police because having done it in the past I knew that those stories would then end up being leaked.”
And even though he is right in the middle of that phone hacking scandal with The News of the World, he isn’t TOTALLY in fear of the system.
He adds, “I’ve also been treated really well by the police where they’ve been really respectful and really helpful, so it’s clearly individuals.”
Just shut up and look sexy already.
