Kate Gosselin wants you to know that her ex-hubby Jon Gosselin isn’t struggling to pay his rent because of her and their 8 children.
While Jon clams that he can’t pay his rent because of all that child support that he art to pay, RadarOnline reports that this claim is completely false. Why? Oh, that’s because Jon no longer has to pay any sort of child support.
Cheryl Young, who represented Kate in her ongoing legal battle with her ex-husband tells RadarOnline that it’s simply untrue.
“I read Jon’s statement on RadarOnline.com and was quite surprised to read that he claims to be struggling to keep his child support payments current. As of April 27, 2012, Kate voluntarily relieved Jon of all current and future child support obligations for their eight children.”
While Jon claims he’s strapped for cash and that he is in danger of losing his house and is struggling to make ends meet, at least one claim he’s made- that he could wind up in jail because of the child support- may be true. Cheryl explains that all that child support prior to April 27 is still something he has to pay up.
“Currently, he is only paying a small amount on arrears for support that was not paid prior to the April date when she dropped support. Those payments will soon end meaning that Kate is the sole supporter of the parties’ children.”
So, Jon may be having a hard time paying ‘dem bills, but it’s not exactly all that child support that’s keeping him down.
