After being nominated five times, Kate Winsletfinally won her Oscar. But, is Kate a little bit obsessed with her golden statue? Since Kate won the Oscar for Best Lead Actress, her and her little gold man have been inseparable. From awards parties to Oprah, that little man has already racked up some frequent flier miles.
Kate told Oprah, “I keep looking at him and going, “Oooh wow”. Looking at every little piece – very nice little bottom. It really is an outer body experience – you just think, “This can’t be happening” she said of hearing her name called out as the winner. I felt for sure this was going to be Meryl Streep‘s. I honestly did not think for one second that it was going to be me.”
You know, I am very happy that Kate’s happy that she finally won an Oscar and I see no problem with her toting around her award for a couple weeks. If she is pushing Oscar around in a stroller and buckling it up in a car seat a few months from now, I might be a tad concerned.
