She may be escaping the power of Xenu and Scientol-Tom, but Katie Holmes is going to be losing a whole helluva lot of money. Reports are saying that Katie will not receive much money after all is said and done when the divorce from Tom Cruise becomes final. Due to their prenuptial agreement, TMZ is reporting that “Holmes will have to negotiate a complex agreement that will leave her with little more than what she brought into the marriage.” In other words the prenup was in favor of Tom.
But apparently Katie could care less and I don’t blame her!
An insider told the site that, “She’s not about the money. She’s not that girl. She loves to work. Money is not that important to her. She makes plenty on her own.”
And she won’t be totally broke either. There will be a ton of child support that Katie will receive to take care of Miss Suri if she receives custody of the couple’s 6-year-old daughter and you better believe girlfriend is going for FULL custody!
On one hand I feel so damn bad for all the stress and mess Katie is going to be going through in the next few months, but on the other hand big fat kudos to her for getting the hell outta there!
If I were her, I’d let Tom keep the frozen placenta too!
