Katy Perry, Russell Brand married?
During a recent interview on the Graham Norton Show, Katy Perry talks about her beau Russell Brand saying, “Life’s never dull with him – that’s why I married him!”
Wait, what was that? Married?
Of course everyone was a little shocked and she quickly corrected herself saying, “that’s why I’m marrying him!” She went on to deny any truth to the slip up, though she does refer to Russell’s mom her ‘mother-in-law’ and Russell has been referring to her as his ‘wife’ for some time. Mmm Hmm.
Katy and Russell were engaged over the New Year in India and pretty much as soon as the engagement was officially announced, rumors began flying about the wedding- where, what, when, how. You know, the usual fodder.
In fact, just this week there were reports that the love birds had hired Lady Gaga’s costume designer, Atsuko Kudo, to make latex wedding costumes for them. Yes, you read that right. Oh! Except I forgot the matching bit- that was a key part to the rumor- matching latex costumes. Lawd.
If they aren’t married yet, I feel for Katy. The whole slip of the tongue thing is totally something I would do. Of course, when I have done it in the past it’s been pretty telling. If they are married, duh, we want details.
And I hate to be the conspiracy theorist here, but what if Russell Brand and Katy Perry planned the slip up. Stay with me- what if it was done on purpose to torture us? Just to see what would happen? In good fun, obviously. If that is indeed the case- well played you two- well played.
