Lady Gaga’s concerts in New Zealand were a success and she went out on the third of three shows in Auckland with a bang. Literally. Girlfriend got smacked in the head by a pole by one of her dancers. I bet the dancer either got fired or a good talking to. Ouch.
What happened was a backup dancer struck Gaga with a pole while he was removing it from the center of the stage. Gaga, in turn, who was holding a play machine gun, took a couple step stagger and then rubbed her head in response to the big fat club.
But in Gaga style, the show went on.
Gaga’s makeup artist Tara Savelo took to her Twitter to share, “Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay … cant believe she finished the show.”
Despite almost being knocked out on night three, Gaga’s New Zealand publicist Bridget de Launay said Monday that the Auckland shows were sellouts and a “huge success.”
