Lauren Alaina has reason to celebrate. Not only has she been able to release her very own debut album, THAT album, “Wildflower”, is the best-selling female country debut since 2006 and is the highest country album debut this week, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and an impressive No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200.
AND….the album is also the best-selling digital album by a debut country female, selling 19,659 digital albums. Try saying that all in one breath.
Of her chart topping album, Alaina said, “I am just so thankful that I have been given the opportunity to share my music with the world. To see my name on the charts alongside country greats that I have admired and looked up to my whole life is absolutely mind-blowing!”
Big fat congrats to Lauren and I do admit, despite NOT being a big country music fan, Alaina’s album is solid.
