Oh the drama that is Grey’s Anatomy…known now even for its off-screen drama, is trudging on. With rumors of Katherine Heigl possibly leaving the show to try to jumpstart a movie career, it is unknown what will happen to Dr. Izzie Stevens (Heigl’s on screen character).
Despite Katherine’s co-star James Pickens Jr. stating that both Heigl and T.R. Knight have quit the hit show, it was denied by series creator Shonda Rhimes.
However, Katherine must not be so confident with a movie career as she is adamant that she is going to stay with Grey’s even if she doesn’t know how long her character will last.
Katherine said, “I don’t know if I live or die. I don’t know how Izzie fares. I was assuming that at one point and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don’t know if that’s a yes or a no. No one will tell me and I don’t know how this is going to go.”
