Congrats to Lily Allen!
British pop star Lily Allen has reportedly given birth to a baby girl on November 25!
A close friend told the Daily Mail that the birth was “all good”. Although Lily has yet to officially confirm the news, her ex-boyfriend, DJ Seb Chew, spilled the beans when he tweeted, “sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper…… YES.”
The new mommy also tweeted; “Totes [totally] Amaze [amazing],” leading many to believe the happy baby new is true.
Last month, Allen told her Twitter followers that she had been suffering from Braxton Hicks, false labor pains.
The birth of Allen’s daughter marks a joyful chapter in the singer’s rocky fertility journey. Just last October, Lily and her husband, Sam Cooper, were devastated after the ‘Friday Night’ songstress miscarried their unborn son six months into her pregnancy. The loss came two years after Lily suffered her first miscarriage with then-boyfriend Ed Simons.
After confirming plans to take a break from music in December 2009, Allen has turned her hand to running a London fashion store, Lucy In Disguise. She has also been working on songs to accompany a new musical version of Bridget Jones’ Diary, which are set to be heard “sometime next year”.
However, Allen has also hinted at a return to music this year, revealing she misses playing live and suggesting that she could return as a country artist.
We’d love to see her come out with some new music and definitely can’t wait to see photos of the “mini Lily!”
