In order to keep herself on the fame radar, Lily Allen is speaking about…well, being famous. While she claims she has no desire to call it quits in the industry entirely, she explains that she has lost her passion for music, but she still wants to be famous.
The reason why she left show business wasn’t to escape the spotlight, okay? It was because she wanted to hang out with her fiance Sam Cooper AND because she lost her passion for music.
She explains, “That’s why I made that decision. It was never about… I feel disgusting talking about this, because it’s like, I still want to be famous, I just don’t want to sing.” Ummm, okay?
And with that being said, Allen is determined to stay famous because the money is good. She adds, “I knew I had to do something else, because I’m not wealthy enough not to work for the rest of my life. You don’t get paid to be in magazines and I’m accustomed to living in a certain way. I like having my nice house and filling it with nice things. I’d like to be in that position for the rest of my life, so obviously I’m going to have to work.”
Allen will have a chance to keep her name out there when she weds her man Mr. Cooper on June 11th in Gloucestershire.
