Mariah Carey baby nursery
I know you all would love to be one of those two babies rolling around in Mariah’s tummy. Heck, being a huge fan of the song bird, I wouldn’t mind if she adopted me as her own or hired me as her toilet bowl cleaner.
To say MC is in nesting mode would be an understatement. If converting an entire wing of her into into a luxury nursery with gold encrusted trim isn’t hardcore then I do not know what is.

Of the baby nursery transformation a source said that “Mariah and Nick have converted a whole wing of their Beverly Hills house into a luxury nursery. Mariah wanted 18-carat gold trim with ivory walls, soft furnishings and walk-in wardrobes full of Petit Tresor designer clothes. There’s a top-of-the-range sound system and they’ll each have diamond-encrusted iPods and a flatscreen TV that comes down from the ceiling.”
And get this, it is rumored that MC dished out over two grand EACH for their baby’s cribs. In addition, she threw another $2800 EACH for changing tables. But you better believe Mariah and Nick will also be taken care of when the babies wake up in the middle of the night wanting to nuzzle in the bosom. The nursery will also be furnished with two Glam Glider chairs for Nicky and Mariah and a $1 million sofa.
The source told NOW magazine, “Mariah and her designer Kenneth Bordewick are overseeing every detail. There’s a $1 million red-crushed velvet, 24-carat gold and onyx sofa used for Michael Jackson’s shows. It’s very ‘Alice in Wonderland’ with swags on the back. It might seem over the top, but Mariah has waited a long time for her baby dreams to come true and she says the twins will be the most spoiled kids on the planet.”
Not sure if I buy this, but she sure has the money to go all out on her babes if she wants to!
