Mariah Carey Lollipop Bling perfume set
My girl MC has revealed that she is set to release a candy-inspired set of fragrances. Some people are going to be douchebags and call it immature and childish, but screw you, bitches. It’s called smart marketing and oh so sweet. What is sweeter than having your hubby propose to you with a huge frickin’ blinging ring inside a $.50 ring pop? That’s what I thought.
On Mariah’s official website, the images and the description of the hot new fruity fragrances were revealed. Lollipop Bling is said to be “a candy-inspired trio of fragrances inspired by Mariah’s marriage proposal, an engagement ring hidden inside an iconic Ring Pop package.”
The three fragrances are all inspired by one of MC’s hit songs and have a fabulous new scent that is sure to have teeny boppers askin’ their moms and pops for some ching to buy this fun set.
The sassy fragrances are as follows:
MINE AGAIN – A combination of Chocolate Raspberry with a touch of Magnolia creates an addictive fragrance.
RIBBON – A mouthwatering fragrance inspired by the flavor of the Blue Raspberry Ring Pop is combined with a beautiful floral bouquet.
HONEY – An irresistible fragrance combined with a touch of Honey and Pineapple, creating a bright and sunny fragrance.
According to Mariah’s site, “The 1.0 fl oz scents, Honey, Mine Again and Ribbon, will retail for $ 35 each, and will be available at select department stores nationwide July 2010. Candy-inspired promotions, including a gumball machine gift set and a lollipop rollerball fragrance set, will be available beginning in Fall 2010.”
Oh and in case you are wondering why Mariah keeps putting out the perfume fragrances, not only are the fun and fabulous to create but…I’m sure the more than $150 million generated from these scents have something to do with it.
