My girl Mariah and her man Nick Cannon popped out their twins and held out a couple days to reveal #dembabies’ names. In fact before the big revelation, MC gave her lambily on Twitter a chance to guess what she and Nicky Poo named their twinsies. She did hint that their initials start with the letter ‘M’ and lambs worldwide threw in their best guesses. And I my friends, guessed one of the names correctly. Yes, bow down, bitches.
So without further ado…
The names are as follows: Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon. Odd. Cute. Not outlandish. And meaningful.
Their little boy was named Moroccan Scott with the nickname ‘Roc’. The middle name Scott is after Nick’s grandmother’s maiden name AND his own middle name. The Moroccan Room in Mariah’s NYC apartment was also where Nick proposed to Mariah.
As for their little girl Monroe Cannon, she was named after Mariah’s idol Marilyn Monroe and she goes middle-name-less because Mariah does not have a middle name either.
Cindi Berger, Mariah’s rep tells CNN, “It has been a long, emotional journey for this family, and I couldn’t be happier for all of them.”
