My girl Mariah may just have a part in the U.S. version of X-Factor. Rumors were swirling before, but now as the premiere approaches (September), we are still hearing that MC may have a part in the reality show.
So what is really going down?
Originally we heard that Mariah could be a mentor for just a few episodes, but NOW rumor has it that she may do it for the ENTIRE season.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that “Now that she has had her babies, it’s very possible that she will be involved in some way in the later stages of the show. She has always said she wanted to work with the show, so it’s something they will certainly be discussing ideas for soon.”
It was earlier this year that Cowell considered approaching the then pregnant singer and he even told E! News, “She’s pregnant. I would literally have to have the auditions in a maternity unit or something. Although now that I mention it, it’s not a bad idea.”
But because Simon loves Mariah so much, he wants to make her a part of the show. He said, “She’ll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits.”
So what will be her role on the X-Factor if she signs the dotted line?
