Undoubtedly one of the most talented singers to ever live, Mariah Carey is indeed almost to the point where we can call her legendary. Ok, maybe not…errr…hmmmm….I’m not so sure when the appropriate time is to call a talented individual “legendary”. Anyone out there know? I guess I have always envisioned a “legend” to be gray-haired, saggy-balled/saggy-boobed and senior-citizen-discount-at-Ihop eligible. Know what I mean?
At any rate, soon-to-legendary Mariah Carey is set to release a new compilation for her fans titled “The Ballads”. AND, there aren’t just a bunch of oldies-but-goodies slapped on a CD to sell. Instead, Mariah has re-recorded at least one of her classic hits… “Hero”… one of the greatest songs EVER.
The album will feature 18 of Mariah’s best-known songs including “One Sweet Day,” “Vision of Love,” “Always Be My Baby,” and “Dreamlover.” Yep, CLASSIC Mariah.
