Mario Lopez reality show
Out of all the Saved by the Bell cast members, Mario is the only one with a clean, semi-successful career. He didn’t have to resort to flaunting his abs and squeezing his butt cheeks together as a Chippendale dancer. And thank gawd he was smart enough to get rid of that perm-mullet which would have been a real career dumper.
But now we are hearing that even though Mario has a stable job as a television correspondent, he’s adding a VH1 reality show to the mix. This really can’t be good, can it?
Well, we are hearing that Mario and his baby mama Courtney Mazza want their lives filmed as they prepare for their little cherub to pop outta the vadge. Yeah but while you may be thinking “boo hiss another family reality show that is sure to bore”, you best get the sand out of your booty crack.
While the reality show announcement indicated that we will get to see “Lopez adjusting to being a father as he balances his workload hosting the syndicated “Extra” and MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew”, I’m not buying it.
VH1 is hiding something. Is there something magical about this baby that we don’t know about that will soon be unveiled via this show?
Has an ultrasound shown that the baby will pop out with a full-blown perm-mullet and dressed in a tight leotard and dimples larger than those on Kirstie Alley’s booty?
Now I’m getting curious.
Jeff Olde VP of original programming at VH1 said, “Our audience have watched Mario go from a kid in a fictional high school to a man who has succeeded in many different facets in the TV business. This new series fits perfectly with VH1′s programming because Mario’s upcoming life changes reflect the same family milestones that many of our viewers are experiencing for the first time.”
Riiight, VH1, you sneaky foxes.
But we won’t get to see what this show is REALLY all about come this fall.
