Mark-Paul Gosselaar has officially gotten hitched! He and his fiancee, advertising exec Catriona McGinn, said their vows on Saturday at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, California.
The marriage comes a year after the actor proposed.
“He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams,” said Neil Lane, who designed the couple’s engagement rings and wedding bands. “He couldn’t wait to propose!”
Apparently, Mark-Paul wasn’t the typical male who let the bride do all the planning. He was actually very involved in Saturday’s nuptials. ”I’m too type-A to let it happen around me,” he said. “We’re trying to make it as traditional as possible. It’s going to be fun!”
This marks the second marriage for Mark-Paul. The actor was previously married to Lisa Russell and has two children.
The newlyweds has big plans for their honeymoon. Mark-Paul and Catriona are heading over the Atlantic for a romantic trip in Italy, and Mark is ready to throw down at some restaurants! ”Trust me, we are going to eat our a–es off!” he said to PEOPLE. “We’re really excited about that element.”
