Ooooo, gotta love a good diva fight when you see one. And today the baddest hood-once-orange-jumpsuit wearing beotch of them all is taking on the peppy Katie Couric of homemaking shows. It’s Martha Stewart versus Rachael Ray.
And, for Ray it’s certainly NOT a good thing to be on Martha’s bad side. Martha must be going through menopause or just plain annoyed at Ray’s yippy skippy attitude. In a brand spankin’ new interview in which Martha reveals her plans to rebuild her brand, she also throws a few jabs at Ray. Check after the jump to see how Martha Stewart slams Rachael Ray hardcore!
In an interview to be aired on Thursday, Martha Stewart slams Rachael Ray as she reveals that Ray’s shiznit does in fact stink! In fact, Ray…wait for it…does…not…know…how…to…bake. (GASP) Mmmhmmm. Stewart says, “Well, to me, she professed that she could — cannot bake. She — just did a new cookbook which is just a re-edit of a lot of her old recipes. She — and that’s not good enough for me.”
Oh, but that’s not all peeps. Stewart goes on to talk trash about book writing and you ALL know Martha is the QUEEN of homemaking books.
She says that when it comes to writing a book, she wants to publish something that “is a unique and lasting thing. Something that will really fulfill a need in someone’s library.” Ray, she says, “is different. (She is) more of an entertainer … with her bubbly personality, than she is a teacher, like me. That’s not what she’s professing to be.” Man, Martha is just throwing those hot cakes off the grill isn’t she?! Yikes!
So what does Rachael say about Martha’s jabs? Well, she hides with her tail stuck between her legs saying, “Why would it make me mad? Her skill set is far beyond mine. That’s simply the reality of it. That doesn’t mean that what I do isn’t important too… I don’t consider it needling. I really just think she’s being honest. She does have a better skill set than I do when it comes to producing a beautiful, perfect, high-quality meal. I’d rather eat Martha’s than mine, too.”
Awwwww. So I guess this isn’t really a feud? I guess when Martha says get outta my kitchen, every beotch better listen!
