Mase is getting sued for $35,000 for alleged jewelry theft from jeweler Aydin and Company. Apparently Mase likes to wear the bling but he doesn’t like to pay for it, yo. TMZ is reporting that the rapper says he doesn’t have obligation to pay the money, but that the Atlanta jeweler Aydin and Company is hounding him for cash.
And apparently this legal battle has been going on since the summer and this jewelry allegedly stolen is bling back from 2005.
Judges have supposedly tried to serve Mase with papers at his home in Georgia but he’s always “not here”.
As for Mase, he is saying that he never signed no “alleged contract at issue in case.”
Mase is a rapper turned preacher, so I’m willing to bet that he is telling the truth. Or at least one would hope.
It will be interesting to see what ruling a judge makes on this. The jewelers wants their ching, plus attorney fees PLUS interest.
