Attention Michael Jackson fans! If you have been camped outside or plan on taking a trip to Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park to see Michael Jackson laid to rest, a burial will happen, September 3rd to be exact.
But don’t hold your breath, the police are going to make sure you aren’t there. So, you best cancel those plans because you will be basically shut out of the ceremony. ‘Cuz the police said so! Bam!
Sergeant Tom Lorenz tells TMZ.com, “Don’t even try and come, because you won’t even be able to see the green of the Forest Lawn.”
Cops will be closing streets and utilizing security to the maximum, including overhead helicopter surveillance.
TMZ is reporting that in order to contract cops for the weekday, it’ll be triple the price of a weekend burial. We’re talking $50,000! And yes, that money is courtesy of YOU, the tax payers!
I have a hard time believing that no matter how much security or police officers on hand, it will be fabulously difficult to keep the Michael Jackson fans at bay! Good luck with that!
As far as Michael Jackson burial plans? Jackson family spokesman Ken Sunshine said that “Jackson will be buried at a private ceremony and that guests will be limited to family and close friends. Michael will be buried in a mausoleum, next to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. The specific burial place is a crypt in the wall at the Holly Terrace section of the Great Mausoleum.”
