Michaele Salahi fired!
It looks like Michaele Salahi has been relieved of her “Celebrity Rehab” duties. The former Real Housewives of D.C. star was officially discharged by Dr. Drew Pinsky himself yesterday afternoon. In other words, Salahi was fired, and the reason may not be what you’d expect…
Apparently, Salahi forgot about the whole “addiction” component of ‘Celebrity Rehab’ because RadarOnline reports that she failed to show any signs of addiction.
A source tells Radar: “Michaele Salahi was discharged by Dr. Drew Pinsky….Michaele has a ton of issues but she clearly has no addiction issues, whatsoever. Dr. Drew did a thorough medical examination of her, including a full neurological check-up, and she is fine. Michaele is all drama, that is her main issue.”
Oopsie.
Now, it should be noted that her hubby Tareq is not too happy with the decision to give his wife the boot. He tells Radar that the only reason Michaele agreed to do Celebrity Rehab was to get help for her Multiple Sclerosis from Dr. Drew.
Since then, his lawyers have issued a statement saying, “[Michaele] was fired due to her health condition which is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.”
Supposedly, Tareq and co. will announce more details.
Um, yeah. So I’m still confused. The show is called “Celebrity Rehab”, right? So why would you do the show if you didn’t need help with addiction?
