While the investigation continues regarding Chris Brown‘s smack down, Rihanna has been in hiding, yet cooperating with police. And if you recall during the American Music Awards, Rihanna sported a jewel-encrusted eye patch which has many leading to believe that the patch was not the act of trying to resemble a pirate. Arrrrrrrg.
A police source said, “We’re investigating if her eye injury could have been caused by Brown. There could be an innocent explanation – but police believe Rihanna has previously refused to make a complaint against Brown. She is now being asked about her past injuries and is beginning to open up about incidents in their relationship.”
Another police source reported, “We’re talking to her friends and management, who say she’s appeared with mysterious marks or injuries before, but always refused to explain what happened.
Meanwhile Chris is rumored to be holed up in Vegas, but has found some time to update his facebook status, indicating his relationship as “single” and wrote a brief statement implying Rihanna’s innocence, “You’ll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!”
So while we wait and learn even more as time goes on, it will be soon enough before we all find out the truth about Chris and Rihanna’s relationship.
