An autopsy has been performed on deceased actress Natasha Richardson and the NYC medical examiner’s office is reporting that Natasha died of blunt impact to the head. Uggggggh. So sad. Medical examiner spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said the death was ruled an accident. The cause of death was “epidural hematoma due to blunt impact to the head.”
And while the news of Natasha’s death has shocked the Hollywood community, those who knew Natasha have nothing but wonderful things to say about the talented actress.
Sam Mendes, “It defies belief that this gifted, brave, tenacious, wonderful woman is gone.”
Actress Judi Dench said, “It’s just so shocking, really shocking, and I hope that everybody leaves the family quietly to somehow pick up the pieces.”
Lindsay Lohan (who worked with Natasha in “The Parent Trap”) said, “She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own. My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss.”
Jane Fonda recalled meeting Natasha for the first time. “She was a little girl but already beautiful and graceful. It didn’t surprise me that she became such a talented actor. It is hard to even imagine what it must be like for her family. My heart is heavy.”
Natasha Richardson will indeed be missed by many. RIP.
