With her greatest hits compilation, The Best of Nelly Furtado, in stores now, Nelly took the time to dish on her musical influences and how they contribute to her trademark eclectic sound. The Best Of Nelly Furtado is a look back at Nelly’s first decade as a musician. As for that decade, the Canadian-born singer/songwriter of Portuguese heritage has won and/or been nominated for seven Grammy awards. SEVEN. In creating music, Nelly embraces a multitude of different cultures, musical styles and even languages, all of which has helped to define musical diversity for a new generation.
Not only does her greatest hits compilation feature past favorites, but it also includes three previously unreleased recordings. One of these previously unreleased recordings is the first single from the album, “Night is Young.”
