Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo engaged
Nicky has decided to give marriage another go. After divorcing Jessica Simpson, I was pretty damn sure that Nick was going to be a Bachelor for life. In fact, I was hoping he would have been the next Bachelor on ABC’s hit reality show, but then Vanessa Minnillo had to go and put dibs on him. And that’s ok because she put in the time on her man! I’m sure Vanessa is thinking that it’s about effing time her man put a ring on it! They’ve only been dating since 2006.
In a statement released to the media, the couple announced their news saying “We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together.”
But come on…what we are all dying to know is how Nick popped the big question! Unfortunately neither has revealed too much regarding that special moment.
Lachey did take to his Twitter to share, “I popped the question on bended knee. I do a lot of squats so my knees are very strong.”
And for all of you wondering, the couple will not be doing a reality show together. Nick learned his lesson! Congratulations you crazy kids. Now show off that ring, girl!
