In devastating hip hop news, power couple Nas and Kelis have thrown us all for a loop. Today it was announced that the pair are in fact heading for the big “D” and I don’t mean Dallas. A divorce is in the works. It’s over. No more milkshakes for Nas. Good grief. Talk about suckage!
What sucks even more about this split is that the soon-to-be exes are expecting their first child together in just mere months.
A spokesperson for Kelis tells Vibe.com, “I can confirm that she has filed for divorce. We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.”
According to TMZ, the milkshake mama is wanting ching including both spousal AND child support. In addition to bucks, Kelis is also seeking joint legal and physical custody of the unborn child.
Sad, sad, sad. I’m hoping it’s just not the hormones whacking out on the soon-to-be mama.
