While THIS controversial OK! cover has many peeps feeling a tad proud that a magazine would take the time to pay tribute to Jade Goody‘s life, other peeps have their panties in a twisted mess…one of them being myself. Panties finally unraveled, I am still a bit distraught.
OK! decided that it was necessary to put the date of my home girl Jade’s birth and her assumed death on the cover. Sure, it’s inevitable, Jade is going to die. But, the point is…she hasn’t died yet. Understandably, right?
So, we left our friends at OK! a little message and they responded with a link to a recently released statement.
In the statement, OK! said Goody’s family were “extremely grateful” for the support they had received from the magazine “during this distressing period”.
A spokeswoman for Jade Goody’s publicist Max Clifford confirmed her family supported the tribute issue.
So, if the family is okay with the tribute, does that make everything okay?
